Salzburg is easily one of the most magical cities in Europe. If you’re a music lover, you probably know it as Mozart’s birthplace, and if you’re a movie lover, you know it as the filming location of the much-beloved Sound of Music.
There is, of course, much more to this European gem. I had my contributor, Nicole, meet up with the lovely Sabine from Salzburg’s tourism office to learn more about the city during her brief stay. Nicole made it her mission to show off more than Sound of Music or Mozart locations. Whether it’s the winding, narrow pathways of Old Town, its world-renowned Baroque architecture, or the snow covered Untersberg, I’m convinced you’re about to fall in love with these magical photos of Salzburg.

Dreamy, right? I was enchanted the minute Nicole sent these photos over to me, and the thought of being anywhere cold usually fills me with dread! You can check out more of her photos on her Instagram, @wandrfox_.
